Shantell Yasmine Abeydeera is an Australian born, Sri Lankan made writer, performer, and content creator who now occupies a small slice of Los Angeles, where she is committed to creating female-driven, inclusive content.

She is the originator of viral, LGBTQ+ comedy series GIRLS LIKE MAGIC and writer/co-creator of the short-form series DATING IN PLACE, made for the REVRY network.

As a performer, Shantell has appeared in television shows such as GOOD GIRLS (NBC) and CHIEFS (CBS), as well as starring in the upcoming indie film THE INFLUENCER (2021).

In her spare time, she moonlights as the DIRECTOR of CONTENT for OML, whose new streaming channel OML on Revry is the 1st Global, Queer Femxle 24/7 LIVE streaming channel and VOD platform. She is also known to drop the occasional guest blog for THE HUFFINGTON POSTS, QUEER VOICES.
